  • CET coaching can be provided to interested students, on a chargeable basis, after the completion of the board examination.
Discipline

  • All students are required to report to the institution on the re-opening day for all semesters, without waiting for announcement of the BTE results. This is to ensure that academic sessions are efficiently conducted.
  • There is a ward scheme under which departmental staff members continuously monitor the general discipline and performance of the students and advise them suitably, in co-ordination with other staff members and parents.
  • Every student is required to register a minimum of 85% attendance subject-wise and month-wise. Penalties are leviable for delay in reporting after reopening day and / or for shortage in attendance. In some cases, hall tickets may be denied.
  • The students are also involved in the smooth conduct of the academic session by constituting the Student Advisory Council consisting of class representatives. The Student Advisory Council meeting is held every month to discuss and solve their academic and non-academic problems.
Sports and Co-curricular Activities

  • To facilitate all-round development of our students, we encourage sports and cultural activities.
  • The Polytechnic has a large playground where team games like football, cricket, hockey and volleyball are played.
  • There are also facilities for indoor games like table tennis, carrom and chess.
  • In our calendar of events, the first week of December is devoted to inter-departmental sports and cultural competitions and activities.
  • Competitions are also held at the beginning of the academic session to select and train students for participation in Taluk, District and State level sports and cultural meets.

Training and Placement Services

  • To bridge the gap between academics and industry, students are educated and trained in the latest developments in their field.
  • Final year projects are carefully selected to ensure relevance and enhance employment opportunities. Well-selected projects have ensured good jobs for many students.
  • Our Training and Placement Offi cer co-ordinates campus interviews. Many different industries have participated in our placement programme, to mutual benefit.
ISTE Activities

  • The Institution and Students chapters of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi were established in 1994.
  • Both the chapters are very active, interacting with the Institutions and Industries to conduct several programmes related to development of personality & latest skills of the students and the staff. The students are encouraged to participate regularly in the National Conventions of Students ISTE Chapters held every year.
