There is a very well established spacious library with a repository of 21,889 books including Encyclopedia and handbooks, 25 Technical Journals and 33 magazines and good furniture. Besides there is a separate book bank containing 2513 books for SC/ST students. To ensure that students enjoy good access to books, library functions for 12 hours a day on all working days during the academic session and the board examinations.
Open book system is followed to enable free reading without inhibition. In addition, three books are issued to a student against borrower’s card for a week, after which he/she can exchange them for another set.
The liberal collection of good books both academic and non-academic provides ample opportunity and stimulus for students to gain adequate knowledge of his/her discipline along with the good general knowledge.
